How long does a custom engagement ring take?
On average 4 to 6 weeks from the day you approve the CAD design. The first week is consultation and 3D modeling; weeks two and three are casting, stone setting and polishing; the final week is our three-pass QC, certificate and insured shipping to the USA.
How much does a custom ring cost?
Most of our custom engagement rings land between $850 and $2,800 depending on metal, stone size and setting complexity. Because we are the factory rather than a retail middleman, the same ring would typically cost noticeably more in a downtown store. You will get a fixed written quote before we start casting.
Do you actually ship to the United States?
Yes. We ship fully insured and signature-required to all 50 states, usually arriving in 3 to 5 business days after dispatch. Every ring is packed in a fitted box and carries tracking from our bench to your door.
What is a GRA certificate?
GRA is a grading certificate for moissanite that documents the stone's cut, color, clarity and carat weight. Every center stone we ship leaves with its GRA certificate inside the box, so you have independent documentation of exactly what you received.
Can you resize my ring later?
Yes. Most bands can be resized within roughly two sizes up or down. We offer the first resize at no charge within the first year, and afterward at a fair bench cost. Rings with stones fully around the band have tighter limits, which we will flag before we build.
I already own a stone. Can you set it?
Absolutely. Resetting heirloom stones is one of our favorite jobs. You send the stone to us, we photograph and inspect it, design a setting around it, and send it back with the new setting. We have reset family pearls, grandparents' diamonds and inherited pear stones.
Moissanite or diamond — which should I choose?
For most clients, a graded colorless moissanite gives dramatically more size and sparkle per dollar, and it is durable enough for daily wear. If traditional diamond provenance or resale value is the deciding factor for you, we will tell you that honestly. We set both and we have no stake either way.
Can I see a design before you cast it?
Yes, always. You will review a 3D CAD render (usually two or three angles) and you can request changes as many times as you like before we commit a single gram of metal. We never cast an unapproved design.
Do you make matching wedding bands?
Yes. Roughly half of our engagement orders come back a few months later for a wedding band that nests against the ring we built. Designing them together saves money and guarantees they sit flush, so we often suggest planning both from the start.
How do I know my ring size?
We include a free reusable ring sizer with your quote, and we can also measure a ring you already wear on the correct finger. Because we build to order, getting the size right before casting is easy — just ask and we will send the sizer out.
What if I don't know what I want yet?
That is completely normal and the most common place to start. Send us a few screenshots of rings you sort of like, tell us what your partner wears day to day, and we will propose two or three directions. No commitment, no pressure.
